Dubai, located in the desert sands of the United Arab Emirates, is a standout city in the country. The ideal time to visit Dubai, known for its impressive attractions like the Palm Jumeirah and its beautiful scenery, varies based on your goals for the trip. Many people living in the Dubai believe there are just two seasons: hot and even hotter. While it’s rare to hear anyone call the weather cold, there are moments when the beaches of Dubai are empty of sunbathers. What is the best time to visit Dubai? If you want to explore the desert, relax at the beach, enjoy outdoor dining in the city, or steer clear of crowds, it’s important to plan your visit carefully. Although rain is rare, when it does occur, it can be heavy. Here on indubaimall, what you need to know for the best time of your trip to Dubai will be explained.

Winter (November to March)

What is the best time to visit Dubai? The ideal time to go to Dubai for pleasant weather is from November to March. During these months, temperatures are comfortable, usually in the 80s during the day and the 60s at night. This is when the city is vibrant with many seasonal events, making it a great time for exploring and outdoor fun. January is a thrilling time, because the Dubai Shopping Festival takes place all month long. Visitors can enjoy big discounts and experience live music, street acts, fireworks, and fashion shows at the best malls in Dubai. Furthermore, from late February to early March, the Dubai Food Festival presents a long celebration of food. A standout feature is the Beach Canteen, located by Dubai’s beautiful coast, where you can taste food from pop-up eateries and food trucks while enjoying live shows.

Spring (April to May)

April in Dubai is warm and humid as summer begins. Each day has about 10 hours of sunshine, with temperatures averaging between 22⁰C and 34⁰C. Humidity increases, and there is very little rain. The sea temperature reaches about 25⁰C, perfect for swimming and enjoying the beach. Dubai begins to feel quite hot in May, with temperatures reaching as high as 37⁰C. It’s a good idea to use the air-conditioning found almost everywhere and stay in the shade during the hottest part of the day. You can experience the top spots to enjoy from spring flowers in Dubai and the beauty and fragrance of countless blooming plants at the Dubai Miracle Garden. There are fun activities for kids and families in Dubai during spring. You can have a blast at Aqua venture Waterpark with its water slides, lazy river, and splash areas.

Summer (June to August)

Summers in Dubai can be quite intense. Many expats choose to go back to their home countries during the hot months to escape the heat. In June, temperatures often reach between 38°C and 40°C, and can soar to 43°C in July and August, with nighttime lows staying around 30°C. However, if you can handle the heat and plan to relax by the pool with a book, this is a great time to find discounts at top hotels. Plus, if you want to shop, many of Dubai’s air-conditioned malls take part in Dubai Summer Surprises, which offers eight weeks of deals and events.

Autumn (September to October)

Autumn, which lasts from September to November, offers a nice break from the summer heat, with temperatures between 30°C and 35°C. It’s a perfect season to explore the desert, enjoy the beach, or try exciting water sports. This time also starts the high season, but it’s less crowded than winter, making it a more relaxed time to travel. September is a time to relax by the pool at places like JA Palm Tree Court. The city begins preparing for its busy season, featuring events such as the Dubai International Film Festival and the Dubai Rugby Sevens. Dubai in October is a popular choice for visitors, with pleasant temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C. You can enjoy from outdoor activities at the sunny Jumeirah Beach or the green Dubai Creek Park. This month also marks the beginning of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, a month-long event focused on health and wellness, offering free activities such as outdoor boot camps, cycling along the Dubai Water Canal, and fitness classes at Burj Khalifa Plaza. November is also a great time to visit Dubai. While temperatures drop at home, the sun shines brightly here all day.

From late December to early February, the beaches can be quite cool, so if your main goal is sunbathing, this might not be the best time to go.
